Hello,
I’m writing to wish you a most enjoyable first working day at a new place!
P.S. A minute ago I tried to start a new page, but failed – and here it is, specially for you! I feel proud, though it turned out to be VERY easy (I hope in a week’s time I’ll feel awkward reading my confessions of being totally ignorant in manipulating the blog , but I’ve never felt ashamed to learn and to show my ignorance))
So, good luck for tomorrow!

Hi! I wish everybody a nice day or night. Tomorrow I’ll go to Karelia.)) Kiss you))
Август 3, 2009 at 4:35 дп
Are you going to Karelia again? I can’t believe it! Lucky you! This world isn’t fair – and I’m sitting at the computer in a totall mess after the flood))
I can’t wait to see your new pictures. Take care and have fun!
Август 2, 2009 at 9:30 пп
hello))))))
it’s my first experience in blogging))
I’ve never written in blogs before
I wish you good luck)) and I hope you’ll find here almost as good friends and students as we are))
my new phrase for today “kill or cure”
Август 3, 2009 at 4:27 дп
I liked that ‘almost’)) and I like alliterations in English – they sound nice. Last time we used ‘brown as a berry’ and now I’m really ‘hungry as a hunter’, though it’s too early.
Have a nice day and I’ll keep the fingers crossed for you!
Август 3, 2009 at 5:11 дп
I hope you’ll find good friends here too – I ‘ll open a page “Discussing the latest films, books etc. I liked”
Take care! Lots of love (as usual))
Август 3, 2009 at 5:45 дп
morning)
I have my breakfast at a café)) because I’m going to Hungarian embassy)) so my working day will start a little bit later))

Август 3, 2009 at 8:01 дп
Hello to all, who’ll read this.
Thahk you for inviting me to this blog, makes me feel so special:)))))
First day of work is stunning.
I’ve seen short funny sketches of “Monty Python” at youtude (it’s a group of british comics).
Some are very funny, if you manage to go through their inglish:))))))))
Август 3, 2009 at 2:49 пп
Ira, you ARE special, do you have any doubts about it?))
Август 3, 2009 at 2:50 пп
You are VERY special
I hope to be your dance student one day))
Август 3, 2009 at 4:18 пп
I’ve just seen “The Black Hole” – I liked it, thanks a lot – it was really funny))
Август 3, 2009 at 8:02 дп
Thanks for you care) ! Today we are together in a new pleace, it looks as we are newer bееn separate!
Have a nice day! Hoop i’ll make lots of good fotos))
Август 3, 2009 at 8:14 дп
Anya – thanks a lot! I feel exactly like you, as if we’ve never been separate!
P.S. “V” and “W” stand for two different sounds, you know))
Take care!
Август 3, 2009 at 2:42 пп
I love our new place, and we can have our English class here on Wednesday)
p.s. Ira, I also like Monty Python))) especially their “meaning of life”
Август 3, 2009 at 2:45 пп
And I’ve never heard the name, as usual(( – but i’ll find MP at Youtube))
Август 3, 2009 at 2:47 пп
Olya – I’ve made the ‘new film, etc’ page – what films should I see next?
Август 7, 2009 at 2:21 пп
Hello))
Our first working week has already finished))
All of us like this place and atmosphere!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here are some of phrases about footwear:
Lace-up ankle and calf boots look feminine with high heels and pointed toes.
Winter boots take inspiration from hiking footwear. (“hiking” means here military style)
Thick platforms are seen as well as a sky-scraping wedge.
Sports-inspired fringed tongues become a key styling detail for women’s winter footwear.
Have a nice weekend)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Август 7, 2009 at 3:34 пп
I’m happy you liked the new place. I know you liked the atmosphere just because you created it! And you are a great teacher – I could understand everything in your footwear article. But I don’t like lace-up shoes, they don’t look feminine at all. Sometimes (or most of the time) they look vulgar to me.
Thanks God tastes differ! But when I like a person, I start liking everything about them, even lace-up shoes))
Август 9, 2009 at 5:37 пп
http://totemi.ru/catalog/section.php?SECTION_ID=247 – I wanted to send the link directly to Ira, and then remembered about the blog. I love lots of items of their jewellery collections.
Enjoy!

Август 21, 2009 at 1:21 дп
Интересная тема, продолжайте. Иногда нахожу ответы, которые получить самому просто не хватает времени. Спасибо!
Август 22, 2009 at 9:34 дп
Hi! I came back from Kareliya and have lots of photos) I is interesting, if i could to put some photos somewhere in this blog? Or possible to write comments only?
I hoop to see A.L. in our new office. So, pls., if you, Anna L’vovna will be soon in our new place, pls., pick up my textbook. I left it lust time at your home.
Август 22, 2009 at 10:38 дп
Anya, welcome back! Your book is with me)) – when I’m at your place, I’ll bring it. I hope to see all of you in your new office soon (and your pics – I have to change the hosting to display them and soon I’ll have another site, too)
Have a nice day,
lots of love
Август 22, 2009 at 10:27 пп
Просто отлично – очень интересные мысли. Разжевано специально как будто бы для меня
Август 26, 2009 at 6:59 дп
Just another word for you. Shress. When I saw it, my wild guess was it was smth like an ugly dress (a combination of ‘Shrek’ and ‘dress’, but it was completely wrong)) it’s just an article of clothing that is a mix between a shirt and a dress. Best described as those frilly tops that girls wear over jeans or tights and often wear boots along with them.
Vanessa looked great in her bright green shress and matching boots.
Август 27, 2009 at 8:13 пп
I liked this word (combination of shirt and dress)
today I also saw shirt/jacket hybrid for men, but they didn’t have special name for it)
my phrase: “However, don’t go overboard with styling as the mannequins should be used to simplify the look – keep the message simple”
Август 30, 2009 at 11:32 дп
working weekend hello))))))))))))))))))))
my new words:
ascendancy
rendition
and my favourite – inherently
looking good but still feeling sad,
Olya
Август 30, 2009 at 12:03 пп
Olya, thanks for keeping me in shape with words))
I can’t imagine you feeling sad for a long time, so, I don’t feel worried – they were just nice words meant to make me smile))
‘Ascendancy’ went far away from ‘ascend’, but I can see it as a result of ascending.
What meaning of ‘rendition’ you meant isn’t quite clear, that’s why I like seeing words in context.
‘Inherent’ requires prep. ‘in’, if needed, e.g.
- Dance is also an inherent part of the culture.
- Surgical procedures have many risks inherent in them.
Август 30, 2009 at 2:49 пп
Just another funny newly coined word – mascary
when a person wears a scary amount of mascara.
Have a nice evening – I’m sure you won’t look mascary))
Август 30, 2009 at 5:26 пп
Hi! I like this mascary- it is funny))
Август 30, 2009 at 5:35 пп
My favorite phrase at the moment..”the greatest thing I ever learned – to love and be loved in returned”
Август 31, 2009 at 5:25 дп
The very last thing I did yesterday was writing my response to Anya’s phrase. I must have forgotten to press the ‘submit’ button, because it’s gone.
So, Anya I love the phrase, because it’s not just a phrase but ‘to love and to be loved in return’ is the most exciting feeling one can experience in life. And if someone has learned to control the process they must feel v -e-e-e-r-y (as Olya puts it) proud!
Have a nice day!
Сентябрь 1, 2009 at 5:32 дп
Now I remember my initial comment – I thought that this feeling of control might be just another illusion – ours is a maya world. I believe so.
Сентябрь 1, 2009 at 5:37 дп
Masha! I opened the page to congratulate you on this unreally real event – your son is going to school! It’s so touching that I feel happy for you. I do hope that he’ll like schooling and the school and all the experience it’ll bring!
Сентябрь 1, 2009 at 11:13 дп
Ira – this post is for you.Today I’ve come across not the German variant of “свиной грипп” we discussed one of these days, but ‘Swine Flu’(Also this week, we’re looking to hear from anyone who has experienced Swine Flu during the holidays and would like to share their experiences with us.)
Сентябрь 3, 2009 at 7:27 пп
hello))
how are you)
we have loooot’s of work now, you can’t imagine!
but i always have time to read your blog)
by the way Siedah Garrett used wrong form of verb “have”, didn’t she?)
it’s a typical mistake for russian as well) when there are many nouns and one verb many people connect a verb just with the last noun (not with all of them)
my words:
get high
get loose
much love))))))))))
Сентябрь 7, 2009 at 7:48 дп
morning hello)
a nice phrase with our special terms:
‘Detailing becomes essential with small pleats and gathers creating an innocent movement to sheer fabrics against flowing satin edges.’
have a nice day))))))))))))))
Сентябрь 7, 2009 at 9:49 дп
Olya, thanks for your nice comments – they always make me happy))
I got a message about your comment just when I was going to share two links with you – here they are:
- http://demiart.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=45810 – I got fascinated and inspred when I saw that forum (but it requires registration);
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bw7mQZHfFVE (it’s also in Russian but very inspiring. I think Anya will like it.
Have a good week and hope to see you soon.
Say hello to the girls.
Сентябрь 16, 2009 at 7:57 пп
i’ve just seen the phrase: winterize your wardrobe)
Сентябрь 17, 2009 at 5:49 пп
I love English for its ability to coin new words! Thanks for the phrase!
Сентябрь 18, 2009 at 6:28 дп
Word formation is a topic we discuss too little – why do we deprive ourselves of this pleasure, I wonder…
Сентябрь 18, 2009 at 10:33 пп
night hello)
my new word for today
treatise:
When white and black come together the result is an intriguing treatise on modern dressing
I’ll go to sleep while the going is good)
I know that it doesn’t suit here much, but I wanted to use it somehow)
have a nice weekend)))))))))))
Сентябрь 20, 2009 at 7:12 дп
working sunday hello)))))))))))))))
new word
app:
The iPhone has added an app that allows users to finger-paint without getting their hands dirty.
and I liked a phrase:
Nostalgia is a key factor in brand messaging. The clearer your brand message, the stronger the connection to your product and your consumer.
Сентябрь 20, 2009 at 11:51 дп
Working SUNDAY hello?!! – Isn’t that too much?
I was 200 metres away from your office yesterday, but didn’t dare to disturb you. I miss you a lot!
I wonder what ‘app’ stands for? I like the idea, anyway. I spent about 30 minutes finger-painting last week and got my hands ve-e-e-ry dirty))
I don’t know how to finish the message- can I wish you a day-off after the rush is over and success at the exhibition?
Сентябрь 20, 2009 at 6:24 пп
Hello, again ! The blog has moved to lovenglish.ru – you are all welcome there!
Do you want your page to be something like a closed forum or everybody is welcome?
Октябрь 29, 2009 at 5:42 дп
Я подписался на РСС ленту, но посты почему-то в виде каких-то квадратиков
Как это исправить?
